Quantara can use supported table information from text-based PDFs when the page contains an extractable text layer and the detected rows match the supported workflow. Those rows become review candidates, not confirmed BOQ items. Plain paragraph text is not converted into BOQ candidates, and complex tables, merged cells or weak layouts may need correction against the original document. Image-only or scanned pages can be detected, but Quantara does not currently extract their text with OCR, so their content needs professional review and transcription. PDF drawings are not treated as a promise that drawing geometry will be measured without professional review. A construction professional must verify descriptions, units, quantities and source context before use.

Supported Autodesk or AutoCAD DWG information can enter Quantara through a controlled-access workflow connected to an eligible Autodesk account. For supported files, Quantara can analyze selected model metadata and properties and create traceable candidates for professional review. Those candidates are not automatically confirmed final BOQ quantities, and availability depends on account access, configuration and entitlement. This capability is different from universal CAD, BIM or IFC quantity extraction and from unattended computer-vision takeoff of arbitrary drawing geometry, which Quantara does not claim. The responsible professional must inspect the model context, decide whether a property is suitable evidence, correct the candidate where needed and confirm any resulting BOQ data.
